Welcome to Sion

Our Lady of Sion College is a Catholic secondary school for girls from Years 7 to 12 with a long and proud history of educating young women in the Box Hill and surrounding areas.

In our inclusive community, every student is named and known, a differentiating factor that sets us apart. From the moment our students join us, they feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to achieve.

When students leave our College at the end of Year 12, they can look forward to a future filled with hope, developed through the vast range of learning experiences offered at Our Lady of Sion.

We remain strongly committed to a culture of child safety and a zero tolerance for child abuse.

Come and see how your daughter will embrace life at Sion.

Community Voice

'Walking through the cherry red gates for the first time, I felt like I was on the doorstep to endless possibilities. The friends I have made, the skills I have learnt and the memories I know I will have for life. Thanks to my amazing teachers for a wonderful first year at Sion; I can’t wait to make more memories.'

-Cilla S

'I have really enjoyed all the opportunities on offer at Sion, like helping prepare for the Lenten Liturgy, participating in three events for the Swimming Carnival, going on camp and doing things that I never thought I could do! Year 7 has been a wonderful journey so far'.

-Ilia P

'Our Pastoral Team strives to give our students the belief, resources and capabilities to manage challenging situations.'

-Paul Kerr

'It was the diligence of all my teachers, over the years, that encouraged and nurtured my tenacity, my desire to achieve academic excellence, and my love for serving my community. To the staff that are still at Sion, I just want to say - thank you. Thank you so much.'
