VCE Results

Congratulations to the Class of 2020

It is with great pride that we congratulate the Class of 2020 on achieving VCE and VCAL success. In a year of extraordinary change, we celebrate the tremendous resilience, adaptability and perseverance each of our students demonstrated to achieve these wonderful results.

Our students worked with commitment to develop their skills and further their career aspirations during a time of adversity and we commend them for their focus and determination. As life unfolds for the Class of 2020, we are confident that these fine young adults will continue to excel in their future endeavours. In whatever field they pursue, they will have much to contribute to our world.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, staff, parents and guardians for their unwavering support throughout 2020.

To each one of our students, we wish them every success as they move beyond the cherry red gates of Our Lady of Sion College.

2020 Highlights:

  • 7.3% of our students achieved an ATAR above 95 which places them in the top 5% of the state
  • 18.3% of our students achieved an ATAR above 90 which places them in the top 10% of the state
  • 39.4% of our students achieved an ATAR above 80 which placed them in the top 20% of the state
  • Our median ATAR was 75.55
  • Our median study score was 32
  • 10.4% of study scores were above 40
  • Three perfect study scores

We especially wish to congratulate our 2020 Dux, Katrina Yeung who achieved an ATAR of 99.75, closely followed by Sophie Chan with an ATAR of 99.7 and Emma Daly with an ATAR of 99.5 who achieved perfect study scores of 50 in Health and Human Development, Physical Education and Media.
